Given how recently this has all happened, it's no surprise that From Software wants to remain on top of any bugs that might appear in Dark Souls 3, however minor.Īlthough it should be expected in the gaming industry at this point, the recent discussion over game bugs and glitches makes From Software's intent to address as many issues as possible in one patch all the more refreshing. The culmination of Ubisoft's many stumbles through ineffective patches and an increasingly frustrating player experience has been a very visible reduction in the number of people playing The Division. Ubisoft's The Division, although riddled with a great deal more glitches than Dark Souls 3, has been handling bugs and exploits rather poorly in many gamers' eyes. Of course, that approach is very different from one that has been making headlines for weeks now. It doesn't appear that From Software is targeting any of the Dark Souls 3 tips and tricks that add little quirks to its title's brooding and melancholy world, preferring to let gamers have their fun and only step in when a bug is negatively affecting a player's experience.
